LIFE'S LITTLE MOMENTS, NATURALLY CAPTURED
My approach to family and portrait photography is simple: let the kids be wild, let the moments unfold naturally, and let me capture what’s real. Whether it’s breakfast at home, playing in the backyard, an afternoon at the park, or a spot in the Macedon Ranges that means something to you. I’ll be there to capture the beauty of your everyday life.
No awkward poses. No counting to three. Just your family, doing what your family does, with someone there to let things unfold naturally and come in for guided shots only when the moment calls for it.
What to Expect:
-
A relaxed, documentary-style shoot with no forced poses.
-
A location that suits your family: your home, a favourite outdoor spot, or somewhere in the Macedon Ranges.
-
Activities and prompts that bring out your family's personality naturally.
-
Genuine moments that capture the real heart of your relationships.

Labour + Birth Photography
There is a moment in every birth where everything changes. The room, the noise, the way time stops meaning anything. It happens once, and then it is gone. Labour photography is about being there for that, quietly, so you have it to look back on for the rest of your life.
This is documentary photography in its truest form. I am not there to direct or pose anyone. I stay out of the way and let the story unfold exactly as it happens, whether that is in a delivery suite, a birth centre, or at home. The aim is to capture the real moments: the support of a partner, the strength of labour, and the first time you meet your baby, without ever getting in the way of the people doing their jobs in the room.
Birth is unpredictable, and a good labour photographer needs to be too. I am on call from 37 weeks and stay ready to come to you whenever the moment arrives, day or night.
Birth Photography packages are scoped to your individual requirements and will be costed after consultation.

What to Expect:
-
A pre-birth consultation to talk through your birth plan, hospital or care provider, and what you do and do not want photographed.
-
On-call availability from 37 weeks until your baby arrives.
-
Discreet, unobtrusive coverage that respects your space and the work of your medical team.
-
No flash photography. I work with available light to keep the room calm and undisturbed.
-
Full discretion over what is captured and shared. You decide which moments you want documented, and which you would prefer to keep private.
*NOTE: Every hospital and care provider has its own policy on professional photography during labour and delivery, and some require advance written permission before a photographer can be present. This is especially relevant in a caesarean or theatre setting, where access is not guaranteed and varies hospital to hospital.
