Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before getting in touch.
Have a question before booking? You'll find answers to the most common ones below. If something is not covered here, get in touch directly at TU@tiesuriephotography.com or call +61 459 122 802.
General
I am based in Woodend in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria. I work regularly across the Macedon Ranges and surrounding towns including Kyneton, Gisborne, Daylesford, Trentham, Lancefield, and Romsey. For weddings, sporting events, and commercial projects I am available across Melbourne and regional Victoria, and I travel nationally for destination, motorsport, and lifestyle campaigns.
I cover five main areas: weddings and elopements, family and portrait sessions, sport and motorsport, lifestyle and destination marketing, and documentary work. Across all of them my approach is the same: documentary-style, authentic, and built around the real story rather than a posed version of it.
The best starting point is to get in touch via the contact form on this site, by email at TU@tiesuriephotography.com, or by phone on +61 459 122 802. From there we will have a quick chat about what you need, I will send through a tailored quote, and once you are happy we lock in the date. I typically respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.
Videography is available on request for weddings and select commercial projects. Get in touch with your brief and I can advise on whether it is the right fit and what that looks like in practice.
Weddings + Elopements
I photograph weddings in a documentary style. That means I follow what is happening rather than directing it: the looks between people, the moments that unfold on their own, the parts of the day nobody is performing for. I step in for a few guided portraits when the light or the setting is right, but the rest I leave to unfold naturally. The result is a set of images that feels like your day actually felt.
Yes. Elopements are one of my favourite things to shoot. Whether it is just the two of you at a lookout in the Macedon Ranges or a small gathering somewhere further afield, the approach is the same: relaxed, real, and completely focused on the two of you. Get in touch to chat through what you have in mind.
You will receive 30 to 60 images within 48 hours of your wedding so you have something to share straight away. Your full edited gallery is delivered within 4 to 8 weeks depending on your package. All images are delivered via an online gallery in both web-optimised and high-resolution formats, along with a USB drive with the full set of files.
Weather is part of the story. Some of the best wedding images I have taken have been in difficult light or mid-downpour. I come prepared for all conditions and work with whatever the day gives us. If you are genuinely concerned about a particular location or outdoor element, we can chat through a contingency as part of the pre-wedding consultation.
Yes, every wedding package includes a pre-wedding mini shoot. It is a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before the day itself, get a feel for how I work, and come back with a set of images you will love. It makes a real difference to how relaxed people feel on the wedding day.
Family + Portraits
Wherever your family feels most comfortable. That might be your backyard, a favourite local park, a beach, or somewhere in the Macedon Ranges that means something to you. I can also suggest locations based on the time of day and the look you are after. The most important thing is that the setting feels natural rather than chosen to impress.
Not at all. Most kids are not great in front of the camera at the start, and that is fine. I do not direct children, I follow them. Give them five minutes to forget I am there and they will give you everything. Some of the best family images I have taken have involved someone crying, someone running away, and someone looking in completely the wrong direction. That is real life.
The Mini Shoot (30 minutes) delivers 20 or more professionally edited images. The Full Session (1 to 1.5 hours) delivers 60 or more. All images are delivered via an online gallery in high-resolution and web-optimised formats.
Yes. I offer documentary-style labour and birth photography, covering the labour, delivery, and first moments after your baby arrives. I am on call from 37 weeks and work discreetly to capture the experience without disrupting your care team. Learn more here>
This depends on your hospital or care provider's policy, and some require advance permission. I recommend raising it with your midwife as early as possible, and I am happy to provide supporting information if your hospital requires it.
sport + motorsport
Yes. I hold Motorsport Australia Accreditation, which is the credential required to work as a media photographer at sanctioned motorsport events in Australia. I have used this accreditation to shoot at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne and the MotoGP Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island.
My sports coverage spans a wide range of codes and levels of competition. On the motorsport side, that includes Formula 1 and MotoGP. In mountain biking I have covered the MTB Australian National Championships and the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Cairns for Cycling Australia. I have also covered RMIT Uni Games, Champions League Basketball, and a broad range of local and regional sport across Victoria.
Yes. Multi-day event coverage is available and quoted on assignment depending on the scope, location, and number of days. Get in touch with your brief and I will put together a tailored quote.
Absolutely. Every level of sport has moments worth keeping, and I approach local club sport with the same preparation and care as a national event. If it is played on a field, court, track, or in the water, get in touch.
Lifestyle + commercial
My commercial work covers accommodation and hospitality shoots, tourism and destination campaigns, brand lifestyle content, and documentary-style journey coverage. I have worked with accommodation providers, regional tourism projects, and brands needing on-location lifestyle imagery across metro and regional Australia.
Yes. I am available nationally for destination campaigns, multi-location commercial projects, and extended documentary assignments. Travel and accommodation costs for work outside Victoria are quoted separately as part of the project brief.
